eBay is a marketplace full of millions of different products, and for every normal auction that features a stuffed animal or an article of clothing, there’s someone trying to sell something quite strange like a fart machine or a bobble-head Jesus figurine.
Some of the strangest items ever sold on eBay were religious themed items, and many of them are listed under the “Weird Stuff” category. Many of the craziest items are types of food that happen to be shaped like something from the Bible or an element of Christianity.
9. Gigantic Cheetos Chip
After buying his son a bag of Cheetos corn chips for his son, a man found what appeared to be a massively sized corn chip in the bag and decided to auction it off on eBay. Although there was some trouble with the auction at first as fake bidders artificially inflated bids into the millions, the man ended up getting a bid for $180.
8. Justin Timberlake’s French Toast
After Justin Timberlake failed to finish his breakfast during an interview with a local radio station in New York, an enterprising fan took his unfinished piece of French toast and auctioned it off on eBay for over a thousand dollars.
7. William Shatner’s Kidney Stone
William Shatner isn’t one to let anything go to waste, and after he had surgery to assist with the passing of a kidney stone he met with the doctors to get the stone back. He auctioned it on eBay for $25,000 and gave money from the sale to Habitat for Humanity.
6. Half-Eaten Sandwich from Britney Spears
After Britney Spears didn’t finish her lunch one day, someone snapped up her unfinished sandwich and placed on eBay where it eventually sold for over $500. As a bonus, the seller also included a corndog reportedly part of an unfinished meal from Britney’s ex-husband, Kevin Federline.

A woman living in Hungary who wanted to pay for college decided to auction her virginity off to the highest bidder. She got a winning bid of 200,000 pounds from a man in Britain.
4. Skin for Rent
A Long Island, New York resident decided one day that he had some skin that wasn’t being used and thought auctioning the space off would be a good idea. He had the phrase “Save Martha” tattooed on his body for just over $500.
3. Corn Flake of Illinois
A pair of sisters living in Virginia found a corn flake shaped like the state of Illinois and after listing it on eBay, got $1,350 for the flake when it was bought by the owner of a traveling trivia museum.
2. Pope Hat Doritos Chip
Although the Pontiff has never been known to wear a tortilla chip for a hat, a family in Massachusetts found a Doritos chip that looked to them to be shaped like the Pope’s official hat (called a mitre). They sold their distinctive chip on eBay for over $1200.
1. Diana Duyser’s Virgin Mary Grilled Cheese
Duyser probably holds the title for selling the strangest item ever on eBay. She got a whopping $28,000 for a slice of grilled cheese that she said looked like the Virgin Mary.
